Monday Lotto draws take place in Australia every Monday after 8.30pm AEST.

Each week, six numbers and two supplementary numbers are drawn mechanically from a transparent barrel. To win you have to match 6 winning numbers in a single game.

The Monday Lotto is a lotto game played in all states and territories in Australia. It started life as a New South Wales-only game administered by New South Wales Lotteries, with its first draw on 5 November 1979.

From April 2004 until May 2006 the Division 1 prize did not jackpot and instead a "cash rolldown" applied. If there was no Division 1 winner, all Division 2 to 5 prizes were doubled. The game format changed in February of 2012 so that division 1 had a fixed prize of $1 Million for each winner and division 1 no longer jackpots.

How to Play

For entry into the Monday Lotto, players select six numbers from 1 to 45.

You can select these numbers yourself by clicking the “PICK MY OWN NUMBERS” button or choose from one of our Auto Pick options for a fully random set of numbers on the Play Monday Lotto page.

When the draw takes place, six numbers are drawn from a barrel. To win the First Division prize, you’ll need to match all six main numbers drawn from the barrel. There are six prize divisions in total.

Game Types

Solo Entries
To play a solo entry in Monday Lotto just select six numbers from 1 to 45 and finalise your order.

You can purchase as many games as you like, then all you have to do is wait for the results!

LottoHQ will check all your games and notify you of any winnings when the draw results have been announced.

Syndicate Entries

System Entries
System entries allow you to pick more additional numbers in a single game for the chance to win across multiple prize divisions!

Our Lotteries allow you to choose between 7 & 20 numbers in one panel and then play every combination of those as individual games. A System 10 means you select 10 numbers, a System 11 you select 11 numbers and so on.

A system entry offers many of the same benefits of playing in a syndicate like increase chances and multiple dividends, but all your winnings are yours alone, no splitting the prize between syndicate members.
